Welcome to Johnson Street IEMD, which forms two parts Number One is - a "close to exhibition standard'' fictional end to end OO gauge layout inspired by Crewe IEMD, and is a satellite depot for some of DB Cargo's electric locomotives, primarily Class 90s, which are being maintained here for a variety of purposes including Malcolm Rail. The depot is operated by DB and is located somewhere south of Crewe and north of Daventry's DIRFT facility. The method of control is DCC. Number Two - The actual trains that the models depict. The locos that inspire the above. Electric locos like, Class 88, Class 90 and Class 92. There are two new electric locos in the UK, these being the 93 and 99 as well as a number of preserved but active electric locos, Class 86, Class 87, Class 89 and Class 90.The train services these operate, primarily container trains in and out of Daventry IRFT and other seaports like Felixstowe, Garston and Coatbridge as well as the Caledonian Sleeper.
