Since 1991, we've hosted our state capital's annual Pride Festival that draws nearly 15,000 people for a festival and parade in downtown Olympia. The festival includes national and regional entertainers and plenty of food, arts and crafts and community booths. Capital City Pride is registered as a Washington state non-profit corporation and holds a combined state and City of Olympia business license. Capital City Pride is a proud member of Interpride, the international association of Pride Organizers. Capital City Pride is a team-managed community event committee that relies primarily on volunteers with a few paid short-term contracts and other contracted services.
