North Wales, band playing original material influenced by late 70's rock, punk & new wave. Formed 2015 when members of another Caernarfon band, DFA, decided on a fresh start. Iolo Jones (Drums), Sion Parry (Bass) and Keith Morris (Guitar), were joined by Steve Crocker(Guitar) and John David Morris(Vocals) Rhys Mwyn, former bassist of legendary Welsh punk band Anhrefn, replaced Sion and played their first gig in October 2016. A 4 track CD was released in May 2017. The second EP "Red Sky" 2018 September 2018 Keith Morris leaves. In early 2020 White Ether released their first new single as a 4 piece "Time For You" just before the Covid Pandemic cancelled all gigs. January 2021. "Promised land" and associated video are released. January 2021. Rhys Mwyn leaves White Ether. September 2021. Micky Cox formerly of The Scapegoats joins as new bassist. August 2023 Iolo Jones leaves White Ether. August 2023 James Bradford of The Black Sheep joins as new drummer.
