ROOTS & BRIDGES strengthens vulnerable children and young people in rural Africa through community-based Safe Parks that provide safety, nutrition and a continuous education pathway. Our mission is to create stability, protect wellbeing and enable long-term prospects for children and youth.
Safe Parks are implemented with strong local ownership and supported by experienced partners. Trained caregivers and social workers from the community ensure culturally aligned, sustainable impact.
Each Safe Park delivers core development pillars: daily nutrition, psychosocial support, Early Childhood Development, academic reinforcement, girls’ empowerment, creative and athletic development, leadership and financial literacy training, and hands-on Training Gardens for sustainable food skills.
We prepare children and youth for school, life and work while strengthening community resilience. Together, we build pathways to a self-determined future.
