Disaster Aid Australia (DAA) is an Australian Charity, the project of the Rotary Club of Greater Dandenong and Endeavour Hills.
We provide aid to developing countries as a response to humanitarian disasters such as typhoons, earthquakes, tsunamis and pandemics.
Membership and volunteering opportunities are open to all, not just Rotarians
DAA is a founder member of Disaster Aid International, a partnership of Rotary organisations from many countries with similar aims.
Our aid is provided through two programs:
SMART AID - Our response to humanitarian disasters. Generally we assist with 'Shelter' and 'Safe Drinking Water'
SAFE WATER for EVERY CHILD - Our response to the ongoing disaster of worldwide death and illness due to contaminated water. Our aid is to provide permanent SkyHydrant installations.
