Originating from the Greater Toronto Area, Kurtis + The Crosswinds are a 4 piece band of friends. Their collective passion for performing and writing music has drawn their forces together to combine and create a new concoction of musical fusion. Since the band's inception in early 2016, they have played at festivals such as Bradford Carrotfest, Bradford Food Truck Festival, Downsview Ribfest 2016 and at venues throughout the Cookstown and Newmarket area. They were also featured on Rogers TV York's premiere of Small Town Sound, which showcased local artists and bands in the area. Band members include: Kurtis Kennedy-Singer (Guitar/Keys/Vocals), Kenny Nguyen (Bass/Vocals), Gavin Kasko (Guitar/Keys/Vocals) and Darby Munro (Percussion).
