Launched in 2018 by Architect Olaitan Awokoya, with Engineer Peter Fisher and Dr Bayo Adepetun, Scotch Bonnet Jazz was to showcase the talent of the very best of Nigerian jazz artistes. A weekly jazz event that took place every Thursday, It was the beginning of the jazz revolution of the teen 2000's, as jazz events had become sporadic. This spark ignited the return of jazz performances that spread to other venues in the City of Lagos and other states in Nigeria. Today, Scotch Bonnet Jazz has became the foremost venue for jazz enthusiasts to enjoy superb music in an intimate environment and enjoy delicious culinary fare.
