The Blue Collar Kitchen consists of Marty and James Armstrong, and anyone else who happens to show up during filming. Both have done their time in the restaurant industry, but the primary goal of the show is to show regular people that you don't need a culinary degree (which neither have), or even a lot of cooking experience (which they do have), to enjoy great, homemade food. They insist on only using ingredients and equipment that are easily accessable to normal folks. Nothing fancy here but the results.
