At Kehillah Studios, we believe African stories deserve global screens. We are building a home for Black creatives — animators, filmmakers, designers, and dreamers — who carry the fire of our cultures, traditions, and lived experiences. Too often, the world tells our stories for us. We are here to change that. From childhood tales told under the stars, to the music of our cities, to the struggles and victories of our communities — these are the stories we bring to life. Through workshops, collaborations, and bold storytelling, we empower the next generation of African creatives to: 1. Shape original characters our children can grow up seeing themselves in 2. Keep our heritage alive through art, film, animation, and design 3. Rewrite the global narrative about Africa with work that’s authentic, diverse, and unforgettable We are more than an academy. We are a movement — a community where African creatives train, connect, and collaborate to keep our stories alive.
