Up and coming Atlanta-based duo Dead Cassettes represents the new wave of the alternative punk-rock-soul-funk multi-hyphenate genre that has been rippling through the millennial and Gen z zeitgeist. For three years, both Bradlea and Rodney have been cutting their teeth deep in the local Atlanta music scene, playing house shows, art shows, and house parties. Both halves of the now-duo originally started as solo artists in Atlanta, and were brought together by mutual friends for a show where Bradlea was playing and needed a guitarist- the rest was history.
