Founded in 1974, Quimper Sound Records & Guitars has been a cornerstone of Port Townsend's music community for decades. Originally a humble record shop on Water Street, Quimper Sound has grown into a trusted destination for music lovers, musicians, and collectors from the North Olympic Peninsula and beyond. Over the years, we've evolved from selling vinyl and CDs to becoming a full-service music store, offering an impressive selection of new and vintage guitars, amplifiers, pedals, and accessories. In 2024, we moved to our new location at 1002 Lawrence Street, combining our love for records with a dedicated guitar shop to better serve the growing needs of our community.
