Gakko was founded by entrepreneur Kenta Koga in 2011 in his native Japan—the name comes from the Japanese word for “school”—as an innovative, inclusive and international summer camp. Through organic growth, Gakko has steadily expanded our portfolio of projects, always with students and learning at the center. We now bring three distinct pieces together—our international camps, a flagship learning center and a digital learning studio.
