As-Salaam Alaikum This channel is geared towards an audience that has been disconnected from their understanding of Islam due to a lack of communication from the Islamic communities across the United States. As a child of deaf parents, I came to realization growing up that deaf Muslims lack basic knowledge to their faith due to the language barrier (lack of ASL interpreters) between them and their Muslim communities, which was different in other religious communities that provide workshops and programs for their deaf members (with interpreters). The deaf of the Islamic community here in the US should have the same opportunities to learn the foundation of this beautiful religion just like the ones whom Allah granted hearing to. In Sha Allah (God willing) through this channel I can build a community to not only deaf Muslims, but to non-deaf Muslims who are interested in understanding the religion.
