AA–Legrand is the moniker of Berlin-based producer Simeon Loth.
After several years of roaming Berlin’s Indie-Folk scene, playing in various local bands like The New Madness and Samuel Breuer; recording for artists like Alice Rose, Roemer and many more he turned to producing his own music in 2019. It started in his bedroom with a 2012 MacBook and borrowed gear from friends, just aimlessly messing around with sounds for the sheer joy of exploring new sonic territory. The release of his debut EP 'Pacific' was followed by his debut album Order/Redo in 2023.
AA–Legrand’s sound takes classic Indie-Folk influences from Bon Iver and Novo Amor and enriches it with a touch of electronic vibes from James Blake and Apparat. Hushed vocals, wide open spaces and lush ambiences are the main elements to this newcomer’s music.
