100-Note Toy Piano Project

In March of 2017, I began what became known as the Daniel Blitz Clavichord Project, a tribute to one of my mother’s cousins. As that project wrapped up in the summer of 2018 a desire to do another project, this time of a lighter nature. The result was "The 100-Note Toy Piano Project". The call for scores went out in September of 2018, and closed at the end of April 2019. From the 89 pieces that were submitted, 75 were selected. (Technical information: the pieces were recorded on three different toy pianos, and the background colors indicate which was used: those with a red background were recorded on a Casspinette Grand, those with a blue background were recorded on a Schoenhut upright from the 1950's or so, and those with a green background were recorded on a Jaymar upright from the 1970's.)
