So my wife went on vacation for a month, and left me alone with the kids, a credit card, and a love for Vocaloid Music.
Coming at things with only a general knowledge of audio/communication principles, and an 8th grade music class level of musical knowledge I now attack the world of Vocaloid Producing.
I know nothing, and am relying heavily on a multitude of youtube video tutorials to figure this stuff out. Taking it one day at a time until I can make something great. Until then, I offer you the chance to observe my progress as I go through a few phases i've mapped out (in my head):
Phase 0 - Simple Classic/Traditional songs, In both Japanese and English. Think old hymns and traditional Japanese music.
Phase 1 - (More) Complex arrangements with multiple vocal tracks (harmonies, etc). Maybe some country ballads?
Phase 2 - Full arrangements with multiple vocal tracks/idols.
Currently working exclusively with Megurine Luka, until I get more voice banks!
