There are 258 million children around the world who do not know how to read or write. Children who are out of primary school are uniquely challenged to develop vital skills and keep up with educated peers over time.
The Luminos Fund was founded ensure all children have equal access to joyful, foundational learning, especially those shut out of education by crisis, poverty, or discrimination. Our vision is of a world where no child is ever denied the chance to learn. LLuminos is currently working in Ethiopia, Ghana, Lebanon, and Liberia.
An international education nonprofit, Luminos provides transformative education programs to thousands of vulnerable children, helping them to catch up to grade level, master foundational skills, and prepare for lifelong learning. To date, we’ve helped 481,149 children experience joyful learning, and we’re just getting started.
