Growing up, the only time I forgot we had nothing was when I watched a movie.
I’m Terrence Aphane—filmmaker, writer, director, and producer. My journey began in film school, where I launched the YouTube channel Small House Brainiacs. With limited resources but limitless vision, I created my debut no-budget feature, Noon to Sunrise. My second feature, SONTI, was nominated for Best Film at the Durban International Film Festival and celebrated at festivals across Africa.
Today, I continue to grow as an author of six eBooks and a filmmaker with two short films and three features. The road is long, but every step is worth the ride.
