I love massive mountains, intimate woodlands, and anywhere mystery and magic can be found. These are the subjects I love to paint, and those paintings have been juried into regional and international shows, some taking top honors. My work has hung in the Triton Museum, the Art Museum of Los Gatos, and the Haggin Museum, as well as in galleries in Florida, Oregon, California, Scotland, China and Taiwan, and is in private and corporate collections around the world. I have also published illustrations in colored pencil, alkyd and watercolor. Current projects include graphite illustrations for the "Lost Lake" series of books by author David Hazard for young adults, and concept art for my published fantasy novel, "The Valenblade," and its sequel, which is in progress: "Owler." When not doing art, I compose and record original music, or write poetry and prose. Otherwise, I’m out somewhere hiking through the kinds of landscapes I love to paint. Or eating ice cream. I love ice cream.
