Animals Asia is working with the Vietnam government to rescue the last bears who remain on bile farms across the country, and end bear bile farming forever by 2026. We are building a new sanctuary which will be home to these bears. They will need extensive physical and psychological rehabilitation. We have rescued over 670 bears since 1994 to our two award winning bear rescue sanctuaries in China and Vietnam. We are the only organisation with a bear sanctuary in China. Our founder and CEO, Jill Robinson MBE, Dr.med.vet. h.c., Hon LLD is widely recognised as the world’s leading authority on the cruel bear bile industry, having campaigned against it since 1993. Our work focuses on three major programs: END BEAR BILE FARMING CAT AND DOG WELFARE CAPTIVE ANIMAL WELFARE
