These three young middle-schoolers are Science,Technology, Engineering, & Math (STEM) enthusiasts who are driven by the ideas of group learning and community sharing. They find various subjects to learn, practice and master (like Computer Programming, Robotics & Artificial Intelligence, Advance Mathematics etc),and then expand their group activities to help the community too. They mentor younger kids, collaborate with non-profit organizations to run classes, and popularize & advocate group activities among classmates, friends, neighbors & their community.
Current interest area is robotics & programming. In 2016, their team won three first prizes out of four national level challenges they had participated at John Hopkins University (JHU ), Baltimore, MD. Last year they mastered building LEGO Mindstorms robots , created a robotics group in the town, and participated in the First Lego League (FLL) challenge. Their robot managed to achieve 5th place.
