ONE LIVE Concert was conceived by Professor Noel Fitzpatrick, The Supervet from Channel 4 who is well known for his remarkable work in veterinary medicine.
ONELIVE is an evening music event all about One Medicine, and is held in aid of the first charity to champion this message, The Humanimal Trust One Medicine embraces the idea that all disease should be studied in animals and humans at the same time. By promoting understanding of this responsibility, our interactions with companion animals can be the start of collective responsibility for all animals on the planet and a real awareness of the need for conservation of habitats and species.
Along with thousands of others in the world of medicine Noel believes that doctors and vets can and must work together towards achieving the Holy Grail: long term treatment and eventual cures for animals and humans alike using identical methods. It’s mutually beneficial, it makes total sense, and it is at the very heart of what Noel does.
