Dr. Peter Tijerina is a trombonist, educator, arranger, and composer. He has played trombone with the Sidewalk Stompers, the Katie Flynn Cabaret, the Lansing Symphony Jazz Band, Milonga and Son Dulce (Latin bands), the Coeur d'Alene Symphony, and the Olympia Symphony Orchestra. He currently teaches music at Community Center for the Arts (C4A), serves as principal trombonist with the Urbana Pops Orchestra, and performs regionally—including with his 10-piece jazz band, which holds a monthly residency at the Rose Bowl Tavern in Urbana, IL.
Peter originally began making videos in 2009 to keep track of his development as a trombonist and musician.
