Candid Heist are an unsigned indie-rock band from Reading. Formed as a combination of two schoolboy bands in the summer of 2016, it took Dan, Shyam, Joe and George nearly two years to play their first gig, but since March 2018 they have been playing gigs all around the country from Birmingham to London to a headline slot at Reading’s Readipop Studios in July.
Candid Heist’s fast paced, energetic guitar tunes have garnered a core group of supporters as a result of their live performances, and the four boys have their sights set on bigger gigs in the near future.
Their bedroom demos have been streamed over 2500 times on Soundcloud and garnered the band their first airplay on student radio stations.
Their debut single Claws premiered on BBC Introducing in Berkshire in September 2018 before release the following month.
Their singles Moonflowers and Stopwatch are due to be released in August 2019.
