Bargain Bin Cinema is a passion project dedicated to rescuing forgotten VHS tapes from flea markets and estate sales. I search for the rarest finds — home-recorded tapes capturing everyday life, special events, commercials, and television broadcasts from the 1980s through the early 2000s.
While millions of VHS tapes were once produced, most have been discarded as VCRs faded away. The ones that remain are time capsules — snapshots of pop culture, local TV, and ordinary moments that would otherwise be lost to time.
My mission is simple: preserve these analog memories and share the hidden gems I uncover along the way.
