With his distinctive warm tone and sensitive interpretations, Lech Antonio Uszynski has established himself as a prominent violist of his generation.
He is Professor of Viola at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague and tutor at the European Chamber Music Academy, and regularly gives masterclasses at international institutions and festivals.
As soloist and chamber musician he has appeared in major halls including Berlin Philharmonie, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Tonhalle Zürich, Wigmore Hall and Suntory Hall.
He is violist of the Stradivari Quartet, touring internationally and recording for RCA Red Seal, Sony Classical and Naxos. He plays a 1690 viola by Hendrick Willems.
