I am a former level 4 USA Archery Coach for the USOC. Technically I was the first coach to ever be awarded the "Order of Ikkos medal" by the USOC in 2008, for having a student medal for Team USA (Find her as Lindsey Carmichael on Wikipedia). I was endowed with the authority to create Level III NTS archery coaches for Texas and the surround states for years as well as coaching instructors in organizations including Boy and Girl Scouts, Austin City Recreation, several Wounded Warrior organizations including those in Ft Hood and in Georgia. My daughter/student medaled in Beijing as a Paralympian - also ranked as 8th as an "able-bodied female recurve archer" despite her disabilities (she would refer to them as "inconveniences") at the same time as being #4 in the world as a paralympic recurve archer.
