The Partnership for Effective Programs for Students with Autism (PEPSA) is an initiative to support educators and schools’ professional development and training throughout our Florida districts. The Partnership Program is an initiative that supports educators’ professional development in an effort to enhance the educational programs for students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in Florida. Every year, PEPSA and the Statewide Centers for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) join to select a cohort of educators to match them to a CARD site and professionals who will mentor the educator or school staff. The CARD partner will provide support, resources, technical assistance, and will guide them through the research process that is specific to the needs identified by the educator or school. Participation in the Partnership Program is available for a maximum of two years, consecutively or intermittently. Go to: doepartnership.fmhi.usf.edu/partnership for more information.
