Hi! Kim Bang and Thomas Vadmann here. Welcome to our sonic flavor lab where we explore all sorts of sounds and allow the ones we like to inspire us to play something.
We first met when studying at the conservatory in Aalborg, Denmark, in the late 90's. It turned out that we shared a strong passion for improvising musicians and large quantities of coffee and have been close friends ever since.
So with 20+ years of friendship and having enjoyed music, meals - and vacations with our families - together, it's a mystery that we never really played together. Now we remedy that! Because humans thrive on doing things TOGETHER, in late 2023 we finally said: Let's play!
When we feel a phase has come to an end, we wrap it up and move on - always keeping our ears and minds open. We want to 'taste' new sonic flavors and go down roads we don't know the destination of. It's all part of the process - and fun!
Also, large quantities of coffee are still involved.
