The Workers Educational Association has hired local filmmaker/media lecturer Chase Johnston-Lynch to deliver several media specific courses around Directing scenes to develop style and techniques to their filmmaking repertoire. He works with writers, actors and directors to develop specific tasks assigned within a ten week programme to create their own versions of produced content and original programming but in their own defined manner to separate the type of directors they wish to be known as. The Alpha and Beta programmes have produced around 30 films each and now, the Language of Filmmaking course is moving in to its 3rd (Chi) phase which will focus on character development and dialouge.
