Formed in Athens, Gr, in 2000, by Yannis Dimitriadis and Vangelis Kasvikis, HDP is a sextet, whose groove-centric music combines elements of Afrobeat, Funk, Ethio-jazz and hip-hop. Current band members are: Yannis Dimitriadis (organ, keys), Vangelis kasvikis (drums), John Dimakos (el. guitar), Panos Tomaras (el. bass), Stelios Mcris (trumpet) and Yiannis Tseronis (bari sax). MC’s BNC and RοH add rhymes and high-octane energy to the mix, both live and in the studio.
