Filthy Rags Outreach™ is a non-profit faith-based outreach. An on-ground prison ministry formed and facilitated by a few former gang members in collaboration with like minded individuals and organizations who have decided to be resilient in the face of adversity while remaining optimistic and persistent in their ability to recover quickly from the upsets of life. The redemption process of helping our communities ''inside and out'' as a whole is being able to redeem those who we can relate to: the downtrodden and unaccepted in society. These are men and women who are willing to go into the deep, dark areas of society to hear the hearts of people with a heart of understanding. Our outreach program has an "each one teach one" method of approach because we can all learn from one another's mistakes and displacements in life.
