We research different aspects of hearing, including hearing loss, deafness, tinnitus and hyperacusis. We also research hearing-related issues relating to cancer treatments, develop objective measures for hearing and improve outcome measures for hearing research internationally.
Our researchers are part of the University of Nottingham and/or the NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre (BRC).
The Nottingham BRC is a partnership between Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, the University of Nottingham, Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. It is funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).
