'The project formerly based in Lincoln, has been ongoing since 2012, releasing two full length albums, Pining For The Road (2012) and Whiskey, No Mixer (2014).
Briefly putting the project on pause after their second full-length, Matt Wise turned his hands to drumming in arguably two of the UK’s best punk bands – Crazy Arm, and The Human Project, however, it looks like Wisecrack has wind ‘neath the sails once more.'

The band is now just known to be based in the South West, UK and has a plethora of musicians in it's guild from around the country.
2020, the year of the rat, is when Wisecrack will return to making posi, anarcho, punk rock bangers. With a combination of relatable positive affirmation, politics and jokes, Wisecrack may remind you of such musicial pioneers as Against Me!, Mischief Brew and Idles.
