Gwendolyn Kassenaar is a London based, Dutch Visual Artist & Performer whose work is attracting considerable interest across the industry. A graduate from Chelsea College of Art, her live-art is based on rhythm, music and dance. Her work provides a contribution to the arts which is believed to be unique, creating her own visual language through the interaction of visual art with musicians and dancers, whilst incorporating the powerful influence of her Synaesthesia. She ‘sees’ an instrument’s timbre, tone or rhythm as vibrant colours and shapes, weaving through like a spontaneous animation.  Gwendolyn’s artworks are instantly recognisable with her distinct vibrant use of colour and expressive gestural mark-making and have become highly sought after. Her art has featured in various London exhibitions, private art collections and album covers. She recently painted live renowned venues, Café Oto, Iklectik and Hundred Years Gallery and featured in the iconic magazine - The Wire.
