My name is Ruth Lopes, a medical doctor specializing in Family Medicine. We are all born with the right to enjoy a healthy and happy life. Different challenges in life may rob us of our birthright. Burnout, trauma or other stress related conditions enslave us and rob us from our self-confidence, our self-esteem, our peace and our happiness. We become ill, both emotionally and physically. We need to uderstand what is really behind our symptoms and break free from that which is holding us back in life. We have to claim our right to health by dropping the burdens that are not ours to carry. The purpose of this channel is to provide a space where support can be given to all those that seek it; support through the discussion of various themes with valuable tips and strategies for the implementation of positive change both in the lives of individuals as well as communities. Children and teenagers will have an opportunity to send questions they would like to see discussed.
