my mentor is Alan Watts. YouTube has given me much inspiration, but i would say that there are 2 quotes from all of these videos, quotes that have helped shape my recent behaviour and thought patterns. They are by my two favourite philosophers..firstly Terence McKenna’s - ‘Stop consuming culture and CREATE YOUR OWN ROADSHOW!’.. a quote that probably kick started me into playing the piano, so yes! I’m doing just that Terence! ..The other quote by Alan Watts whom I listen to even when I am sleeping! His words had most impact on my overall perspective of how we should approach life in a quote about how we are living in a culture where we always strive for future things rather than the enjoyment of the present in his quote ‘..but we played the game wrong all along, it was a musical thing (life)..and we were supposed to sing and to dance while the music was being played..’
