Mozartfest Würzburg 2025 May 23th - June 22th 2025 Confronting great music of the past with present-day actuality Mozart’s music is more than 200 years old but still as vibrant as ever. Established in 1921, every June the Mozartfest Würzburg celebrates the composer’s name and legacy and approaches it from a modern perspective with a central theme. Situated on the River Main and surrounded by vineyards, the town offers a beautiful historic setting for a variety of events, including symphony concerts in the UNESCO-listed Würzburg Residenz, serenades in the Court Gardens or concerts in wine cellars. Our festival program features over 90 concerts and events each year as it celebrates classical music. The program draws attention with high-quality and sophisticated chamber music, symphony concerts, and vocal performances from around the world. Each year, 35,000 visitors travel to Würzburg to enjoy the variety of events.
