The Foundation commemorates the remarkable life of the late Gabriel Al-Salem (USA), who worked as Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s Business Advisory Program in Central Asia and made an enormous contribution to the development of the consulting industry in the Central Asian and other regions. After his tragic death in 2010, in a paragliding accident in Kazakhstan, the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI) recognized Gabriel’s pioneering work and granted him the honorary title of “Member of the Meridian Order.”
