Carl Checrallah, also known as CHEUX, is a Lebanese indie / electronic pop artist, singer and songwriter, born in Beirut on the 21st of August 2000. Through his ethereal and futuristic instruments, as well as his abstract writing, he adresses subjects such as love, regret, the struggle for continuous self improvement, the emotional numbness of a repetitive life… CHEUX released in 2023 his debut EP “PROMETHEUS”, consisting of dreamy, nostalgic chords and arpeggiated synthetic sounds, associated with trap-like electronic drum sequences. The title of the EP, which is a reference to the rebel Titan from Greek mythology, serves as a symbol of sacrifice and creation, of life in its purest form, in all it’s ups and downs.
