Founded in 2013 at Dakota State University in Madison, South Dakota, CybHER®’s mission is to empower, motivate, and educate learners in cybersecurity while inspiring the next generation of innovators. Through inclusive programs, events, and hands-on experiences, students of all genders can explore, learn, and build lasting skills. While CybHER emphasizes promoting STEM and technology for girls and women, our resources and mentorship are open to everyone. By fostering confidence, curiosity, and engagement, we aim to increase participation in cybersecurity and support learners as they progress into collegiate programs and professional careers.
