Mood Indigo, popularly known as MoodI or MI, is the annual cultural festival of the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. It is a four-day-long event held towards the end of December every year. Its last edition witnessed a footfall of more than 1,46,000 students from more than 5500 colleges from across the country. Started in 1971 by a bunch of enthusiastic IITians, Mood Indigo, now in its 56th edition, has snowballed to become the largest festival of its kind in Asia.
