Yes, there really is a shelf, it started with 25 of my favorite VHS movies and old recorded tv. The idea for the channel came from realizing so much of what we see on these tapes and even the process we go through to load, rewind and play them is great history.
My hope is that Memory Shelf content will entertain everyone, whether they have used a VCR or not. I know not everyone wants to keep their old CRT TV, VCR and VHS cassette tapes just to relive some old memories. I kinda thought this channel might give everyone a chance to have that feeling at their fingertips without all the clutter.
