Folking Around is a monthly acoustic showcase night at Woody’s Bar, Kingston and a platform for the weird, wonderful and downright folky. From the hushed, delicate and beautiful to the rowdy, rambunctious and raucous, Folking Around continues to champion the finest emerging talent from the world of folk through to grassroots acts on the verge of breaking it!
On the first Wednesday of every month we invite a host of the finest, toe-tapping troubadours from the local scene, London and beyond to come and play at our intimate and atmospheric riverside venue. From sensational singer-songwriters to bands of marvellous minstrels Folking Around is continuing proof that ‘folk music’ is truly indefinable.
