My aim is to devote the majority of my channel to documenting my playing by posting anything that has been recorded. I play the double bass and the electric bass, and the genres I play include, but are not limited to: classical, jazz, R&B/soul/funk/Motown, rock, heavy (e.g., metal, etc.), pop. I play as a freelance musician and am in a chamber group, a symphony orchestra, a funk/fusion/jazz ensemble, and a few rock/pop groups. One band I play in is comprised of my friends Mike and Ashley, as well as myself (under the name "The You & I Band"). Please visit their channel. There is a link to it below. Occasionally, videos may feature my students, as I am an elementary school string teacher, a studio teacher, and a private teacher. Some videos may be things that I just happen to like.
