Grant Robinson aka CALAFYX is an Electronic Music Producer from Middlesbrough. Grant's musical interest started at a young age after completing 'The Meteor Project' at Teesside University when he was in primary school which gave the students opportunity to make music using Acid Pro. In 2008 he started to promote underground artists online through YouTube under the name OneVibeDNB which unfortunately got shut down in 2010. Having his YouTube account shut down prompted him to start producing music for himself at the age of 19. Now at the age of 27 Grant has been producing music on various digital audio workstations for the last 8 years as a hobby. However, just recently he has been taking his productions seriously and received high rated feedback on recent tracks. Grant also studies Music Technology BSc. at Teesside University where his skills developed to first class grades in areas such as Music Theory, Ableton Performances, Recording, Mixing and Mastering to name a few.
