Fats aka Fatta
Blending the sonics of Dancehall, Reggae and Hip-Hop with his own style and his characteristic deep voice,
recording artist Fats is one of the core figures of Brooklyn’s dancehall scene since the 2000’s.
The iconic single “Real Badman” became a Brooklyn anthem and generated a lot of attention across the globe.
The single was played on radio stations like Hot 97 and at soundclashs such as Major Lazer’s “Quarantine Clash”.
Fats was born in Kingston, Jamaica, before he and his family moved to New York City. As a youngster growing up in in Brooklyn during the 90’s he started making music after being inspired by visiting the rap cyphers in the infamous Tilden Park in Brooklyn. Continuing to build his brand on bassy vocals and representing his neighborhood with a view from the streets,
Fats started to release singles and collaborated with other artist such as the legendary Shabba Ranks on the recognizable single “Bun Up”.
