Elia Malik is a Burundian gospel artist and music producer, born in Tanzania and raised in the United States. His musical journey began in 2008 when he first entered the music scene as a hip-hop artist. After more than a decade in the secular music world, Elia experienced a transformative spiritual awakening that led him to rededicate his life and music to God. In 2024, he made a bold transition to gospel music and later that year released his debut gospel EP, Shukurani featuring three tracks, including a piano version and an instrumental. On January 3, 2025, he brought the project to life visually with the release of the music video for the piano version.
