I help teachers of the deaf shave hours off their day by reducing time spent on emails, report writing and lesson planning so they can spend more time doing what they love (teaching), less time doing what they hate (paperwork and email) and have more time at home at the end of the day.
I worked 12 hour days for 10 years.
I burned out and left the field, not once, but twice.
And I came back. Twice.
Because I love these kids.
I truly believe that kids who are deaf or hard of hearing are the most amazing kids out there (besides my own, of course.)
When I came back to teaching the second time, I knew something had to change. I needed to figure out how I could thrive in this job and make a bigger impact for my deaf and hard of hearing students.
