Will I pass Grade 8 Piano before my 40th birthday? Follow me on my journey to find out! In 2020 I bought a piano, got myself a teacher and set myself the goal of achieving ABRSM Grade 8 Piano by the time I turn 40 - about 5 years time. Three years in - with Grades 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 under my belt - my aim is to continue taking each exam all the way up to Grade 8. I started recording myself playing so that one day I could look back and see how far I'd come. Inspired by other YouTube piano channels, I started uploading these videos. My aim? An honest, realistic record of my piano progression for others to follow and get inspired by. I hope it will be useful for anyone learning piano for the first time or picking it back up as an adult like I have done. Take care! Jeremy P.S.
